Handwerk Riesling

Dry, aged in oak Barrels

Grown in the core area of the Ritsch, in the plot „Im Speyer“. The oldest vines yield around 30 hl/ha. Only the very healthy grapes hanging in the heart of the vine are harvested. The harvest alone deserves the name HANDWERK. Directly after spontaneous fermentation, the wine is stored in new tonneaux for six months.

The result: a broad range of aromas. Fruity, smoky, powerful. Extreme density, lots of substance.

„Candied citrus fruits, delicate toasty notes, popcorn, salty, grippy, transitions super juicy, then comes the wood. Good length.“ 91 points (Meininger’s Sommelier)
